It’s time to streamline pharma supply chain quality management – so we’ve acquired TDV & Forum Auditorias (AFA)

Pharma supply chains are tricky to manage at the best of times, with so many variables and so much to keep track of to maintain quality, compliance and ultimately patient safety.

But all kinds of global market disruption in recent years have added new pressures – of gaps in supply and the need to maintain pipeline security, making sure essential products can still get to where they’re needed, without any compromise in quality or safety.

When it isn’t easy to visualise supply chains right back to indirect or peripheral sources without painful manual detective work, it’s important that pharma companies can trust audit inspections and reports, and that we give them the tools to more readily map the journey of their products from their origins.

Going further, so you don’t have to
To help close the gaps, and to streamline the processes involved in monitoring and reporting on good manufacturing and distribution practice (GMP/GDP), we’ve made an important acquisition, for the benefit of our clients and indeed our professional auditors.

As of the beginning of July, Barcelona-based GxP technology and supply chain compliance consultancy TDV – and its audit organisation Forum Auditorias (AFA), are officially part of Rephine giving us more strings to our bow and making life even easier for the clients we serve.

Our combined organisation is the clear market leader in our field, now with a 750-strong live audit library (covering many thousands of individual products), almost 100 full-time employees, and coverage of more than 100 countries.

More choice, less complexity
Our combined, premium-quality operations will make a big difference to clients who want to be able to manage an increasingly complex supply chain without having to call upon and manage a range of different suppliers. As an expanded organisation, we can offer maximum choice and satisfy a greater range of needs, without the need for multiple touchpoints.

TDV specialises in GxP consulting, especially related to IT systems validation and implementation. Crucially, they’re a preferred partner in Europe for the market-leading TrackWise Digital platform -Honeywell/Sparta Systems’ digital QMS – which we plan to support in additional markets.

AFA, a leading third-party audit organisation known worldwide, adds to our already extensive library of live GMP and GDP audit reports, spanning thousands of individual pharma product lines.

Adding new value, from today
The benefits should be felt immediately. As a combined organisation we will operate out of Stevenage, Barcelona and Shanghai, and the key senior executives from Spain and China will join me on the leadership team. Our priority will be to make the transition as seamless and as beneficial for everyone as it can be from day one.

I hope you will join me in welcoming the people from TDV and AFA to the Rephine group, at this exciting inflexion point for both companies.
